A 5 day, 4 night Retreat in Denmark, Western Australia
Discover the profound connection between the natural world and your inner world at this transformative retreat.
Over five unforgettable days in the serene beauty of Denmark, WA, we invite you to step away from the chaos of daily life and immerse yourself in a journey of nervous system healing, self-discovery, and community building.
This retreat is designed for anyone seeking to reset their nervous system, regain a sense of safety and ease, and foster meaningful connections with others and the Earth.
A dysregulated nervous system can feel like living in a constant state of numbness, or intensity.
For some, it manifests as chronic stress, anxiety, or feeling stuck in a cycle of overwhelm and burnout.
Others might experience physical symptoms like tension headaches, digestive issues, or disrupted sleep.
You might find it difficult to relax, constantly feel on edge, or feel emotionally disconnected from others.
A dysregulated nervous system often leaves us feeling ungrounded and reactive, as if we’re merely surviving instead of thriving.
At its core, this imbalance stems from the body’s fight-or-flight response being stuck in overdrive or, conversely, the freeze response leaving you feeling disengaged and fatigued.
This retreat is designed to guide you out of survival mode and into a state of balance and regulation.
Through a combination of intentional practices, nature immersion, and community support, you’ll discover tools to reset your nervous system and cultivate a sense of inner calm, inspiration, and authenticity.
Little by little, we begin to trust that when we do the best thing for ourselves, positive effects begin to radiate to our partners, our families, and our communities.
-Dr.Claudia Welch

Bonnie G. Wallace- Tantra Yoga Therapist, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Functional Medicine Practitioner, Holistic Chef
Bonnie has been studying and teaching traditional tantra hatha yoga of the Sri Vidya tradition for over 15 years.
True to the nature of tantra, of which one of the translations is "to weave together", Bonnie has woven together Eastern and Western medicine to address the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of our human experience in a comprehensive and congruent way.
She is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist of CCA and the Himalayan Institute, Level 1 ParaYoga, a Functional Medicine Practitioner of SAFM and a holistic chef.
She is the only person in the US to hold this combination of Eastern and Western medicine credentials.
Motivated by her own challenges with CPTSD, thyroid issues- fatigue, skin disorders, chronic digestive issues and feeling stuck in repetitive behaviors- she developed the Whole Health Integration method which addresses the connection between trauma and chronic disease.
Her methodology includes understanding our subconscious beliefs, somatic and IFS therapy to address emotions stuck in different parts of the body, using food as medicine specific to your unique needs, lifestyle changes and learning what your souls purpose is through Vedic psychology practices.
Coming from a family of divers, Bonnie has a deep love for the ocean and is committed to learning to live sustainably off the land and ocean in harmony with her local environment. She loves to roller-skate and make friends with all the animals she can find, and travel all over the world to absorb the abundance of all the different walks of life.

This retreat is rooted in the practice of living in alignment with the land—honoring the deep connection between humans, animals, and the earth. Our meals are centered around the art of traditional living, where we will be hunting for fish, butchering a lamb, and cooking over open fires, much like our ancestors did. This is not just about food, but about forging a relationship with the life that sustains us.
While this is not a vegan retreat, we will provide plenty of vegetarian options. However, please understand that the vegetarian options may not be as fully rounded as the omnivore meals, as this retreat embraces an animal-based menu. The preparation, sourcing, and consumption of meat will be a key aspect of the experience, reflecting our belief in the importance of the relationship between humans, animals, and sustainable farming as a way of life.
We understand that not everyone may wish to participate in these activities, and all participation is optional. If you have specific dietary restrictions or preferences, please let us know at the time of registration, and we will do our best to accommodate you within the spirit of the retreat.
At this retreat, we embrace a true community experience, including our accommodations. You’ll be staying in a single large cabin with 20 twin beds, each separated by curtains for a touch of privacy. While the setup is cozy and communal, it’s designed to foster connection, much like an adult summer camp. We have shared bathrooms and showers, adding to the simplicity of life here.
Though there may not be a lot of traditional privacy, this is part of the retreat’s theme—coming together in shared spaces, just as we share the land and our meals. That said, we understand the importance of rest and will enforce designated quiet hours, ensuring that everyone can unwind and recharge on the same schedule.
